WINGS #29-25 Iceland Women’s Strike
(00:29:00)

Fifty years ago, on October 24, 1995, 90% of the women in Iceland stopped work for a day to protest inequality. The results going forward from that action have been phenomenal. Iceland now leads the world in women’s equality. Filmmakers Pamela Hogan from the US and Hrafnhildur Gunnarsdottir in Iceland spent years researching, recording, and producing The Day Iceland Stood Still, compensating for the missing archival footage with animation. The pair spoke with Hope Katz Gibbs of InkandescentTV, for the 50th anniversary of that strike. They see Iceland’s example can lead the world.

Donald Trump fired everyone on the federal commission that would have reviewed plans for his $350 million ballroom and other proposed projects. In New York City, Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani has proposed a popular ‘affordability’ agenda, funded in part by a small surcharge on millionaires. In California, a new proposal aiming for the 2026 ballot focuses on a one-time tax on the wealth of the state’s billionaires, to fund the state’s Medicaid program after Trump and Congressional Republicans gutted the federal program with a massive, trillion-dollar cut to pay for tax cuts for the richest Americans. The American Prospect’s HAROLD MEYERSON discusses the California wealth tax, counters the many criticisms against such efforts, and much more.

WITH GOOD REASON Weekly: We’re All Gonna Die (00:29:00)

Armed with a newly-talking cinema and trying to survive The Great Depression, Universal Studios developed a new genre ” horror. For twenty-two weeks, crews filmed Dracula. And for six of those weeks on a shoestring budget of $66,000, they shot Dracula at night. Antonio Barrenechea (University of Mary Washington) says that despite this unbalanced relationship with Hollywood, this inter-American production contributed to a national cinema throughout the Western Hemisphere in Mexico, Brazil, Peru and beyond. Also: Each generation has its own toxicant. The children of The Great Depression had asbestos. Their children were rattled with lead exposure. And their children are littered with microplastics. Aaron Reuben (University of Virginia) says over 150 million Gen Xers have mental health issues because of their exposure to lead. And here’s the real fright: there’s no cure!

Later in the show: Were all gonna die. That’s one thing that life promises us all. After helping his parents settle their estate and make funeral arrangements, Willy Donaldson (Christopher Newport University) realized that they needed to talk more about death. Way more. Did they want to be cremated or buried? Did they want a big funeral or something more intimate? He found it easier to start with the negative. What don’t you want at the end of your life? Willys book is Estimated Time of Departure.

THE BRADCAST: 10/27/2025 Let’s Play ‘Who Wants to Be a U.S. Citizen?’! Our first call-in ‘game show’!  (00:58:00)

On today’s ‘BradCast’: Hurricane Melissa is a deadly Category 5 storm bearing down on Jamaica in what forecasters call ‘a worst-case scenario,’ fueled in part by climate change. The Trump Administration will halt funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) for some 40 million low-income Americans on Nov. 1, using the ongoing government shutdown as an excuse even though SNAP has a dedicated contingency fund to be used in such circumstances. The Trump Justice Department will send federal monitors to next week’s state elections in California and New Jersey, which California Gov. Gavin Newsom warns may be a trial run for interfering in the 2026 midterm elections. The Trump Administration has revised the U.S. citizenship test to make it much more difficult. We play ‘Who Wants to be a U.S. Citizen?’ with callers to see if they can pass the new, more difficult test.  https://bradblog.com/?cat=675

WHEN THE BIOMASS HITS THE WIND TURBINE #73: Alternatives to Money (00:29:00)

Money is simply a paper IOU (and not really even paper) that is only as valuable as the faith you put in the promise. And usually not even paper ” only about 5% of the world’s money is in physical form. The rest are simply electrons floating around in some cyber cloud. So what is money and how does it work?

What are some of the alternatives to traditional money systems. Are we in the process of moving from country-based money to technology-based money?

Can you live comfortably in an economy that is not rooted in the concept of money?

SPIRIT IN ACTION: A Home for My Loving Action: Olivia Chalkley (00:55:00)

I ran into Olivia Chalkley through an article of hers featured on the website of the Center for Action and Contemplation called A Home for My Loving Action, and I determined I needed to have a deeper visit with Olivia. It turns out that she has explored deeply and worked widely in the not-so-many years she’s been on the planet. Among the places she’s worked are Quaker Voluntary Service, the School of the Spirit, and the Center for Action and Contemplation. As she has written, For most of my adult life, I’ve struggled to find a political home where my faith is welcome and a faith community where my politics are welcome. This tension has been even more heightened as she has felt more and more called to witness in the face of the travesties happening in Gaza, which has led Olivia into activism with Jewish Voice for Peace and now, with a newer organization as well, Christians for a Free Palestine. You can read an early Friends Journal article she wrote, to a QuakerSpeak video interview with her, and more. Olivia lives & works in Philadelphia area.

Past/present religious/spiritual influences: Episcopal, Catholic, Atheist, Quaker

THE BRADCAST: 10/24/2025 Encore: Richard Von Glahn of People Not Politicians, on plan to block MO’s GOP U.S. House Gerrymander  (00:58:00)

Encore: original airdate 10-14-2025. On today’s ‘BradCast’: Republican-controlled North Carolina is obeying Donald Trump’s orders to rig the 2026 midterm election by launching an unprecedented mid-decade redistricting effort to further gerrymander their already heavily gerrymandered state, to flip ‘blue’ US House seats to ‘red’. But in Missouri, voters and pro-democracy groups are fighting back against the GOP state legislature’s anti-democratic gerrymandering effort. Director RICHARD VON GLAHN of People Not Politicians explains their campaign underway to enact a ballot referendum to stop the gerrymander from moving forward in 2026, expose the specious scheme by top state GOP officials to stymie their efforts, and much more. The fragile Israel-Hamas ceasefire shows signs of fraying. The Fairbanks, AK mayoral election is another instance of a huge shift in the electorate toward Democrats. KEEPING DEMOCRACY ALIVE: Why is There So Much Fear in the Strongest Country in the World? (00:59:50)

Fear of the other. Fear of woke, of LGBTQ+, of Black liberation, and of course the old big fear: Communism. In the age of the Cold War, right after WWII, Americans believed the Soviet Union was bankrolling worldwide liberation movements, when they could barely rebuild themselves. Longstanding institutional racism led to our anticommunism: the Black Lives Matter movement was labeled as dangerous extremism as the FBI ignored genuine dangers from the right. Has Trump become our Stalin? On this show history professor Denise Lynn reveals what anticommunism is really about. Has it turned us into what we feared?

TUC RADIO: Michael Parenti: Capitalisms Apocalypse ” ARCHIVE (00:29:00)

2024 Tribute ” Updated Archive: Parenti predicted the financial crisis and said that giant corporate capitalism ” by its very nature ” is an apocalyptic system. When unregulated the built in elements of ever increased growth may well bring the whole system down. And he described the growing national debt not as a tragic mistake but as a means to shift ever more money from the tax payers to the financial institutions in the form of interest payments.

This speech is an analysis of the many structural flaws of a capitalist system that puts it on a permanent collision course with democracy. Recorded on August 23, 2008 at the closing reception for Maria Gilardins art show: Toasting the End of Capitalism. This rebroadcast, made in March 2024, is eerily contemporary and lends a historic perspective to current events.

CHOOSE TO BE CURIOUS: Curiosity Lessons from Solutions Journalism, with Monica Quesada Cordero (00:28:00)

“This is one of the things with the fast world that we’re in: how do we get people to stop — and to question?” ~ Monica Quesada Cordero.Solutions journalism is a rigorous form of reporting the focuses on responses to problems. No more handwringing; no more oversimplifying. This approach embraces the complexity and, in so doing, manages to restore our faith in the news. Monica Quesada Cordero and her colleagues at el Colectivo 506 have learned a lot in their five years of bringing solutions journalism to Costa Rica.

They have curiosity lessons for journalism — and life itself.

We talk about the upside of complicating the narrative, building a library of what works, the beauty in shades of gray, finding common ground in the complexity, the relief that comes with transparency, and the value in asking an extra what else?

THE BRADCAST: 10/21/2025 Law[lessness] and [Dis]Order: Trump’s crime spree continues and expands  (00:58:00)

On today’s ‘BradCast’: Felon Donald Trump’s ongoing crime spree, violating civil and criminal law, is unprecedented in US history. The corrupted Republican-controlled Congress and the stolen and packed rightwing U.S. Supreme Court supermajority are ensuring he is not held accountable for his lawlessness. A January 6 rioter pardoned by Trump was arrested this week for threatening to assassinate Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. Trump granted clemency to disgraced conman, former GOP Rep. George Santos. Trump’s administration created an interagency group to weaponize the entire federal government against his political enemies. Trump demanded the Justice Department pay him $230 million in taxpayer money as restitution for investigating his wrongdoing. North Carolina Republican state legislature is poised to further gerrymander the already-heavily gerrymandered state. Plus Desi Doyen has our new ‘Green News Report.’

Federal courts blocked the administration’s unlawful mass firing of federal workers during the ongoing government shutdown and rejected the Trump Justice Department’s efforts to prosecute protesters. Trump posted to social media a grotesque A.I.-generated video showing himself as the pilot of a fighter jet, wearing a crown and dumping tons of excrement on protesters. ALAN WATTS: Stop Feeling Lost by Doing This (00:15:17)

If there is one simple question that bothers us all as human beings, it is : Why are we living ? It is a burden on our shoulders, and we cannot think about it without going depressed or becoming sad, because simply we can’t answer it. We got blocked. In this lecture, Alan Watts talks about the game of life, how the answer of that question is : To play. To simply not take it seriously, to stay within the flow of life without having to be very strict and rigid about it. We have to take it as if it was a game. Because if we take it seriously, we will be forced to think scientifically, to predict the future, and be aware that any false move, would lead us to a fatal death, which is not the case.

Encore: original airdate 10-9-2025. On today’s ‘BradCast’: Donald Trump’s tariff trade war is backfiring badly, and now he needs a deadlocked Congress to approve a multi-billion dollar bailout to rescue the US agriculture sector from the consequences. Trump’s Labor Department, in an official filing, asserted that Trump’s immigration enforcement is causing a farmworker crisis and may lead to food shortages. But is it actually true? Financial journalist and Executive Editor of The American Prospect, DAVID DAYEN, discusses what these two major stories mean, how the Trump Administration is using the self-induced crises to slash farmworker wages, and much more. Israel and Hamas apparently agreed to a pause in their war. Trump Justice Department indicted NY Attorney General Letitia James as Trump ordered. Author Michael Wolff explains what he saw of Jeffrey Epstein’s salacious photos of Trump. Plus Desi Doyen has our new ‘Green News Report.’

KEEPING DEMOCRACY ALIVE: People and the Planet: Burned By Billionaires (00:00:00)

Think billionaires have no impact on your life? Think again. We never blame billionaires for our day to day problems even though they deserve it. For example billionaires buy up housing projects then up the rent. And as business owners they often squeeze out workers to increase their profits; they’re job looters. Under Trump billionaires have succeeded in their long term goal of taking over US government, transforming a democratic republic into feudalism. On this show, guest is acclaimed author and economic equity activist Chuck Collins, whose new book is titled Burned By Billionaires; How Concentrated Wealth and Power are Ruining Our Lives and Planet. Billionaires are not evidence of the success of capitalism, quite the converse: billionaires are destroying capitalism. Capitalism is strongest in countries without billionaires, like Canada and nations of Scandanavia. The tide is starting to turn, our tolerance for inequality is shrinking; a full 70% of us favor a wealth tax. Enough!

LAURA FLANDERS AND FRIENDS: Cuts, Shutdowns & Civil Rights Attacks: Federal Workers Fight Back (00:28:00)

About 750,000 people are on unpaid leave as the U.S. government shutdown continues ” but some of the most caring parts of the government’s work have been shut down for months. Take the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for example. This is one of the only free resources available to Americans facing housing discrimination, but in a shocking complaint letter submitted to Senator Elizabeth Warren on September 22, 2025, civil rights attorneys Palmer Heenan, Paul Osadebe and two other whistleblowers describe an agency in crisis. Staff has been slashed by 70% since Donald Trump took office, civil rights cases have been abandoned, and political appointees are allegedly overriding legal findings to allow discrimination. Every layoff and budget cut by the Trump administration, both within HUD and across federal agencies, is part of a larger plan to create chaos, end civil rights protections, legalize segregation and exert unitary executive power. Heenan and Osadebe, members of the Federal Unionists Network (FUN), are calling on federal employees to uphold their oath to constitution and protect Americans. And theyve paid the price: *both Heenan and Osadebe were fired by HUD in what has been called a “stunning act of illegal retaliation. In this conversation, the two share their story, what it means for civil rights and how unions can fight for government accountability.

On today’s ‘BradCast’: The corrupted rightwing supermajority on the US Supreme Court appears poised to kill off Section 2 of the landmark Voting Rights Act of 1965, which barred racially discriminatory election practices. Election law expert JOSHUA A. DOUGLAS, of the University of Kentucky, and redistricting expert DAVID DALEY of FairVote explain the twisted history of a case heard by the court this week, Louisiana v. WINGS #26-25 Conflict Is Not Abuse: Mistaking discomfort for violence is an error of our times.

(00:29:00)

Prominent Lesbian activist, novelist and nonfiction writer Sarah Schulman speaks in Vancouver BC, Canada, about her book Conflict Is Not Abuse: Overstating Harm, Community Responsibility, and the Duty of Repair. Despite Schulman’s strong reputation, the book could not find a publisher in the US, but was picked up by Vancouver’s Arsenal Pulp Press. By 2018, it had sold more than 10,000 copies, and it is still in print. Schulman says it is not simple to divide the good and the bad, where the good are the abused and the bad the abusers; many who’ve been abused feel threatened by discomfort and respond with abuse. She argues that we need to untangle as best we can what is really happening between ourselves and others.

THE BRADCAST: 10/14/2025 Guest: Richard Von Glahn of People Not Politicians, on plan to block MO’s GOP U.S. House Gerrymander (00:58:00)

On today’s ‘BradCast’: Republican-controlled North Carolina is the latest state to obey Donald Trump’s orders to steal the 2026 midterm election from voters by launching an unprecedented mid-decade effort to gerrymander their already heavily-gerrymandered state, and flip ‘blue’ US House seats to ‘red’. But in Missouri, voters and pro-democracy groups are fighting back against the GOP state legislature’s anti-democratic gerrymandering effort. Director RICHARD VON GLAHN of People Not Politicians explains their campaign for a ballot referendum to stop the gerrymander from moving forward in 2026, the specious efforts by top state GOP officials to stymie their efforts, and much more. The fragile Israel-Hamas ceasefire shows signs of fraying. The Fairbanks, AK mayoral election is another instance of a huge shift in the electorate toward Democrats. THE BRADCAST: 10/13/2025 Encore: Voting rights journalist Ari Berman of Mother Jones on Trump DOJ suing ‘blue’ states for voter databases (00:58:00)

Encore: original airdate 10-1-2025. On today’s ‘BradCast’: The federal government is now shut down because Republicans, who control the White House and both chambers of Congress (and who could keep the government open all by themselves), chose to shut it down rather than negotiate with Democrats trying to prevent Republicans from spiking healthcare costs. The Trump Administration is using the shutdown to hurt as many Americans as possible. Trump’s US Attorney in Nevada was caught asking the Justice Department to help her spread propaganda about ‘vote fraud’, even as a judge ruled her appointment was unlawful. Federal court rules that MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell defamed the election technology company Smartmatic. Mother Jones’ voting rights journalist ARI BERMAN explains the Trump Justice Department’s newest attack on voters, including demanding states turn over sensitive voter data, and the GOP’s broader voter- and election-interference agenda.

EARTH RIOT RADIO #190 – The Tree that Stopped AI (00:29:00)

The necessary politics of our age is to turn down the virtual reality and reintroduce actual reality. A tree will do this. The Earth marches closer with every fire and flood. No politician is as removed from reality as Donald Trump, no bank is farther from holding your savings than JPMorgan Chase, no religion more distant from bringing the comfort of unconditional grace than the fundamentalist empires with their God. And in our performance we call that political, financial and spiritual capitulation – we call it shopping. Consumerism. Best of ATTITUDE with ARNIE ARNESEN October 11, 2025 (00:59:30)

Segment One

We begin the show with Chuck Collins, author of “Burned by Billionaires”. We discuss how the power of the very rich has grown, and is likely to be even greater in future, due to the tax changes brought about by the politicians who have been bought and paid for by these same people.

Segment Two

We then sit with Arthur ‘Art’ Jipson, an Associate Professor of Sociology in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work at the University of Dayton. We discuss the false dichotomy of “Right-Wing” vs “Left-Wing” extremist violence. And how the claims of ‘both sides’ is not at all true. The data is clear that right-wing violence (in all its varied forms) is far more intentional, frequent, and deadly than left-wing violence has ever been.

KEEPING DEMOCRACY ALIVE: Justice and Peace: What Teaching Yiddish Literature to Kids Offers   (00:57:20)

Under Trump 2.0, we adults are taught to fear The Other, we must become a monolinguistic culture: English over all. But during this week of Jewish high holy days, we ask what is this ancient language of Yiddish? It is not a mono, it is instead a fusion language formed by Jews of the worldwide diaspora, yielding a worldwide nation needing no borders. Our guest, Miriam Udel is a rabbi, scholar, and a mother, and her soon to be published book is called Modern Jewish Worldmaking Through Yiddish Childrens Literature. Now that may sound obtuse but give a listen. She takes on the evil of cultural nationalism which we see in the State of Israel today. And she explains how Yiddish is an example of Jews being citizens of where they are, making real a democratic egalitarian vision. And Yiddish is about empowering women and redressing wealth inequality. As she explains, where Hebrew divides, Yiddish unites.

For Brecht’s 100th birthday in 1998 the Royal National Theatre from London gave a performance in his honor at Theater Artaud in San Francisco. Bertolt Brecht and many other artists in post WWI Germany were courageously and proudly democrats, socialists or communists. They had experienced the horror of the first World War and were determined to prevent a second one. So when Hitler and the Nazi party actually assumed state power in 1933 they were all marked and most of them left the country immediately. Their exodus destroyed much of the cultural/political rebellion of the 1920s.

Have you ever thought about how random it seems that gold is worth, well, its weight in gold? This week’s guest on Sea Change Radio, Gustav Peebles, is an anthropologist and monetary policy expert at Stockholm University. He has not only wondered about the way human beings assign value to a particular element on the periodic table, he has pondered what it would look like if we applied precious valuation to an element that really matters for our own survival, like atmospheric carbon. In his new book, co-written with Benjamin Luzzatto, The First and Last Bank: Climate Change, Currency, and a New Carbon Commons, Peebles lays out a novel, scalable way not to just dole out carbon credits, but to actually monetize the conservation of carbon waste. We discuss the fundamentals of a possible carbon banking system, and talk through just how such a concept might roll out.

LAURA FLANDERS AND FRIENDS: Mahmoud Khalils Warning: American Anti-Fascists are Failing the Palestine Test (00:28:00)

Mahmoud Khalil was coming home from an Iftar dinner with his pregnant wife on March 8, 2025 when he was detained without a warrant and transported 1,500 miles to a Louisiana detention camp. A negotiator for the 2024 pro-Palestine student protests at Columbia University, Khalil was a legal permanent resident whod committed no violence or crime; his abduction shocked the world. The Trump administration was seeking to expel Khalil, not for his acts, but for his otherwise legal beliefs, statements and associations which Secretary of State Marco Rubio wrote in short letter, would compromise a compelling US foreign policy interest. A New Jersey federal judge threw out that case and Khalil was released after 104 days in detention, but the backlash keeps on coming. In this courageous conversation, Mahmoud Khalil joins Laura Flanders to discuss the night of his terrifying detainment, the Palestinian Exception and the case brought against him by the Trump administration. They are alleging errors on his green card application and have ordered Khalil to be deported ” possibly to Algeria or Syria where his life would be under threat. Despite the risks of deportation, Mahmoud Khalil continues to speak out, and he and his legal team have filed a civil rights lawsuit with the U.S. District Court of New Jersey against the Trump administration to challenge his arrest and detention by ICE. Join Khalil and Flanders as they ask why the question of Palestine is a test for U.S. democracy ” and one we are failing.

Financial journalist and Executive Editor of The American Prospect, DAVID DAYEN, discusses what these two major stories mean, how the Trump Administration is using the self-induced crises to slash farmworker wages, and much more. WINGS #26-25 Conflict Is Not Abuse (00:29:00)

THE BRADCAST: 10/8/2025 (Donald Trump’s Losing Battles; Republicans in disarray over shutdown) (00:58:00)

On today’s ‘BradCast’: Donald Trump is a loser. In the polls, in the lower courts, in his attempts to start a war against the American people — and he’s lashing out like a toddler at elected officials getting in his way, like calling for the arrests of Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker. Elected Republicans supporting Trump’s National Guard deployments in Democratic-run states only pretended to support small government and states’ rights. Trump’s corrupt, weaponized indictment of former FBI Dir. James Comey is very likely to fail before going to trial. Congressional Republicans are in disarray over their government shutdown as polls show Americans broadly support Congressional Democrats’ fight to save healthcare, and Trump screws up their messaging. Plus Desi Doyen has our latest ‘Green News Report.’

In California, officials announced special procedures for victims of catastrophic wildfires to be able to vote in the Nov. 4 special election, which focuses on temporarily setting aside the state’s independent redistricting commission in order to counter Texas’ move to redraw its U.S. House maps to steal the 2026 midterm election from voters. In Oregon, a Donald Trump-appointed federal judge blocked his attempts to federalize National Guard troops from any state to invade Portland. EARTH RIOT RADIO: Is the Earth at the Border Without Its Papers? (00:29:00)

Peace on this Earth is the mother of all issues. But when we see the devastation in Gaza, the human families are in the foreground, and the rubble farther back. All the beyond-human life on the Earth, from insects to clouds to other people, becomes the background. When I’m shouting into a megaphone on the street, I gravitate to the violence against civilian families as a habit, it’s the most powerful argument for Peace. Yet the lives of all participants, even the ones who seem less innocent, even the ones who are doing the shooting, and even the animals and plants – well, nothing is worse for the Earth than war. Peace and war are repeatedly not framed as an ecological thing. But how then, do we bring the Earth closer? That’s a trick question. We ARE the Earth. We are all made of the same Earth.

KEEPING DEMOCRACY ALIVE: Are High Tech Weapons The Answer to Low Budget Terrorism?  (00:58:51)

We all know what terrorism is. We’ve seen it on the ground in Israel. That’s terrorism on the cheap. Is the answer the most modern ultra high tech bombers to decimate the enemy? For centuries, a key measure of modernity has been which side has the best, fastest, most invisible, and most deadly weapons systems. Now it’s time to ask if the intentional killing of thousands of civilians, which is part of that strategy, is the most effective in which side wins. From Guernica to Gaza, from the blitz of London to the carpet bombing of Vietnam, does air superiority decide who wins? On this show RootsAction co-founder Norm Solomon asks if mass killers at 30,000 feet have been above it all. Does it work? Bonus: name the artist at the end of the discussion.

Careys unique view of US history goes back to World War I and ends with the Reagan era. THOM HARTMANN Best of 1 Hour: This Isn’t About Budgets; It’s About Power (00:58:00)

For decades, government shutdowns meant temporary furloughs that were painful but reversible. Now, Trump and his cronies are using the threat of mass, permanent firings to gut the very institutions that protect our food, our air, our water, our workers, and our democracy itself. Trump going after James Comey is the height of authoritarian revenge politics, and the bitter irony is impossible to miss. ‘Never seen it so bad’: DOGE cuts have Social Security workers needing to be ‘medicated’ Wow. Jimmy Kimmel tripled his audience on comeback night – I would say this is called a Trump backfire.

LITERATURE ALOUD: 1984 by George Orwell (1949) part 12/13 (00:58:52)

1984 is a dystopian novel about constant surveillance, news manipulation, conspiracy and control by fear. Written in 1949, George Orwell’s entire novel 1984 was read on-air by longtime Pacifica Morning show host Charles Morgan and June Foray in 1975. Few novels have had as much impact on our thinking and the English language as 1984 from the concept and phrase “Big Brother” to words like “newspeak” and “doublethink.”

THE BRADCAST: 9/30/2025 ‘A War from Within’ (Trump’s Mind) As Government Shutdown Looms  (00:58:00)

On today’s ‘BradCast’: The federal government will likely begin a partial shutdown at midnight on Tuesday as Congressional Republicans refuse to negotiate with Democrats. Donald Trump may want a shutdown, which would prevent the Bureau of Labor Statistics from publishing the critical monthly jobs report for the duration. Trump instead is posting racist A.I. videos mocking Congressional Democratic leaders. At an embarrassing, unnecessary in-person meeting, Defense Sec. Pete Hegseth lectured the nation’s top military brass on ‘wokeness’ and ‘stupid rules of engagement’, while Trump delivered a rambling, hour-long speech describing the Left as ‘the enemy within.’ Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker and Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek pushed back hard against Trump’s unwelcome, completely unnecessary military thuggery. Plus Desi Doyen has our new ‘Green News Report.’
